23 months

You will be 2 years next month! This is your second Christmas. I am so excited to go through the holiday season with you. To see you discover the joy and surprise and beauty of this season! I am trying to establish Christmas tradition now that we can share every year.

You and I made Christmas cookies this week. I cut the sugar cookies from the tube and you sprinkled green and red sugar on top of them! Maybe next year we will make homemade cookies.

It snowed this morning and you were very excited to be out in it. You thought it was so neat.

Your talking has improved and you know so many more words. I love hearing you say a new word for the first time. You are very very smart!

Both sides of the family are excited to see you this season!

On to daily things...

You are definitely going through a stage, whining is your thing now. I must admit it drives me batty sometimes. You will whimper like a puppy if I won't hold you or sit and watch "Shaun the Sheep" with you or I am busy cooking.

You hate tags in your shirts. You make us tear them out before you will let us put them on you.

You love to help Papa fix things. We have been painting the kitchen cabinets and replacing the hardware. You grab a tool and join right in!

Oh, Grandma gave you DVD's to teach you the letters of the alaphbet. You love watching them and are catching on so quickly. Did I mention that you are smart? You make the sounds that some of the letters make. Your favorite sound to make is "C" and "P". We have alaphebet magnets on the fridge and you move those around and make letter sounds.

I am so excited about the NEW Year. 2 will be a huge and wonderful year of learning and growing. I am so excited!!! We will start potty training and sleeping in a big boy bed!

You really are a joy to have around! I love you so much!

Love
Mama

22 months

So much has happened in this last month!

Here are a list of your accomplishments:
We stopped using the paci during the day! (now it is only for nap time and bed time)
You say all kinds of words, too many to type out.
You know your colors!!! You hold up crayons and tell or ask us the colors, you point to different colors on an old patch work quilt and say the colors!
You are starting to try using the potty ( no real success yet)
You remember all your relatives and adapt to new people playing with you much quicker.
We are able to explain things to you and you understand, which now is starting to help you alter your mood...sometimes.
I can get you to do things by asking you to "Help"
You are choosing your outfits.

We are just having so much fun with your growth!

Last month we visited a petting zoo! You had a great time! you got to feed the goats and lamas. You got to see a Tiger up close (through fencing). You saw monkeys, pigs, snakes, camels, bison, ponies, foxes, Kangaroos and more!

Auntie T came for a visit. You spend tons of time playing with her and loving on her. It warms my heart that you take to her so well when you don't see her very often. I know she loves you so much and wants to be a part of your life! We all spent the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's we saw the largest tree house (its in the Gensis book of World Records), Then we went to a ranch for a fall festival. You got to feed horses and ride them, you really likes seeing the horses. You and your Papa jumped and played in one of those inflatable bounce houses. It is the first time we could get you to get inside one.

What a full month! You are lovable and fun! you give kisses and hugs and laugh out loud. You make me so very happy. I think you are adorable and wonderful! Know that you are truly loved by me and your Papa and our families!

Love you
Mama

21 mths

You are twenty one months this week. That sound really close to 24 months! Which means you are almost 2!

You have been doing this for a while but I haven't wanted to write about it because I was secretly denying what it means. Everytime (yes, I really mean EVERY TIME) I sing you shake your head "No". It does not matter what I am singing. Rubber Duckie, a lulliby, amazing Grace or some country song. It doesn't matter if I sing it fast or slow or in English or Spanish (I know a few songs in Spanish-thanks to your Grandma and Aunt Suzie). I am not a great singer, but I am not that bad! I have no idea why. So there it is I have put it out there in black and white which makes it real! I have come to laugh about it and often I sing to you just to see you shake your head "no". Maybe that will become an effective from of punishment.

A glimpse of a miles stone has started. You are sitting on the potty! Twice you have actually potty-ed in the potty! So I am excited at the thought of you becoming potty trained. I know you really are not ready, but you totally get the concept!

Here are a few new words from this month.

Animals

You love animals! Of course our love our dog, Indra, but you also love all animals. Grandma gave you a place mat with all kinds of animals on it. As we eat you point to the animals and we tell you that they are. When you point to the lion or alligator you make the roar sound that that animal makes.

You love your Tigger! You carry him around most places you go. Usually with you blue blanket!

Duke is you bed time dog. He stays in your crib and at night you cuddle up with it and lay your head on top of him.

Namma gave you this doggie chair. It is you favorite place to sit, climb on or just plain old tackle! You love to put it on the couch and try and sit on it, but every once in a while the doggie chair wins and you get tossed to the floor.

Mama

20 mths

I have almost missed your twentieth month post!

I have been working a lot this month and I think it takes a toll on you. You seem to know when I steel even one hour from our normal routine! Which makes you more fussy as you protest more and more each time I leave.

You have been doing so well in Daycare and getting better at being nice to your friends! We are still waiting for coherent speech from you. but you always get your point across. You have been loving bath time, you play with the bubbles and enjoy squeezing the faucet so that the water squirts all over. You also are really getting into brushing your teeth. You get your little stool and pull it up to the sink grab your tooth brush and brush (or chew on it). You also like to take Mom and Dads tooth brush and scrub the counters, or the stool or the door frame! You don't yet understand that some things are "clean" and should not touch "dirty" things. Oh, well it just increases our immune system!

You got your first tick, although I don't know how! We also confirmed that you are still allergic to Tomatoes--you got a whole body rash! so sorry!

You really love social stuff, and once you warm up to your surroundings you make your way around the room and climb, touch, or play with everyone in the room. We took you to a friends house to watch a football game. You had such a good time.

The first photo is of your new past time or drawling on the walls. Not my favorite talent of yours. But I do love your other new past time which is drumming! You love to take candle sticks and drum on stuff, tables, chairs, pretty much anything. I secretly hope you become a drummer, I always wanted to be a drummer, but I have no rhythm.

I love you always and you are the delight in our life!

Love your Mama.

19 months

This week you turn 19 months. It is starting to sink in the hugeness of parenting. As you are growing you are understanding so much and talking is just around the corner. The responsibility of teaching you about Christ and the daily follow through that it involves is over whelming as a parent. I know it is just living the example and taking the moments in life to enforce the foundations of the Christian faith. But your father and I want to do that well and there is such a burden in my heart for you to know Him! Know that your Papa and I are growing in our faith too. We are not perfect and at times loose our tempers with you. Please forgive us, we always regret it! In our weakness we can only point to Christ who is a perfect loving, teaching, and disciplining Father.

I have to admit I let you talk me into TV much too often and (thanks to your Papa) chocolate milk may be your first two syllable word! Each morning that there is time you and I and Indra go on a walk. We have started taking a different route where we pass by one yard with two huge Great Danes and then another yard with a big Rotweiler! I am nervous because I know if they wanted to they could clear that fence and not break stride. But not you, you love it and you love it even more when they get all worked up and bark! You love dogs. Your Papa takes you to the dog park, every once in a while, and you get to run free with all the doggies. You get licked, smelled, knocked over and barked at! But it does not bother you.

I can already see your charm coming out especially when the girls are around! You smile and they are smitten.

I want to teach you balance and perspective, wisdom and spontaneity, an understanding of compassion and generosity. I want to allow you to live out your own personality and discover your God given gifts. I want so much for you, but all I can do is love you and take each day at a time, using each opportunity to guide you as you grow.

Love,
Mama

A few extra things

Here are a few extra thing you do that I think are so cute! You have always loved the car. touching buttons, knobs, climbing over the seats. But lately you want to DRIVE. You climb in the drivers seat and ask me to put the keys in and turn it on so the radio plays. Once you have music you turn that steering wheel back and forth and every once in a while you move the shifter. You have seen Papa and Mama drive that way and you want to too! It is so fun to watch your understanding of objects, and concepts grow.

Last night you actually asked for a hair cut! We had been talking about cutting your blonde wispy hair for a few days. Last night before you would get in the tub you found Papa's clippers and brought them to him. Then you stood there and let him cut your hair! You were so patient and calm! The noise didn't frighten you, the clippers touching your head didn't bother you! You were such a big boy! Now you have a hair cut that makes you look so much older!

Sunday we went to a Fourth of July picnic. They had big inflatable rides, and cotton candy, snow-cones, cookies, and a live puppet show! You had such a great time. You watched intently the puppet show and clapped along with them, you (Papa and Mama) helped you slide down a huge tall inflatable slide and you ate junk food all afternoon! Then a band came on stage and the concert started! You ran right up front and danced and jumped to the music. We had a blast!

I am loving watching you grow up and seeing the new personality that comes out in you!

Love always,
Mama

18 mths

I can't belileve it is offically a year and a half. So much has happened! Recently you have been sick a lot since your started daycare. But inbetween illnesses you are giggling and exploritive! You babble more and more and I can tell when you are asking a question because you turn your hands up and shrug your shoulders. You love your Papa, he is tough on you but he also showers you with love and fun! I am you comfortor and your cheerleader one look from you and I melt!

Your Papa and Grandpa built a jungle gym for you in the back yard. It has a fort, a slide, a swing, and a sand box! You love climbing on it. The slide is a bit steep and you fly down it almost catching air! But you will grow into it!

We went swimming at Namma's you will not let us put any type of float device on you, but you love the water. You spent most of your time on the raft playing in the water on top of the raft and getting on and getting off the raft.

Your Auntie T came to visit you this month. You warmed up to her and the two of you played especially in the mornings. You swam together in the hot tub and played chase through the house.

I feel like the next coming months will bring so many changes. I can't wait to see what though changes will bring. I can see you becoming a little boy! I pray for you daily that you will be healthy, that we will be wise parents, that God provides for us and that you will come to trust in the Lord.

You are a joy and a challenge and your Papa and I love you!

DayCare

This is your second week in DayCare at MudPies and Music. I am so impressed how well you have adjusted to the schedule, even though you only go three days a week. You really seem to like being there. This Daycare has a "Nanny Cam" so I can check in on you throughout the day, which I LOVE!!! You play inside and outside on the playground, you do art and sing songs, and eat snacks and take a nap. Outside you like the slide and the tricycles. Inside you carry your "Tigger" around and play with the different toys and the other kids. I am so impressed at how you sit at the table in your own chair and wait patiently for snack or lunch, you take naps on a cot (not a crib) and you lay right down and go to sleep often sleeping through a noisy room.

You have not cried when Chris drops you off and whenever I talk about Daycare at home you perk up. Your babbling has increased, you are more obedient and your outburst have become less! I am so happy that you like daycare and it seems to be a good learning place for you. I still miss you like crazy and want to be with you all the time, but I am proud at how you are growing and capable of adjusting to new things. I hope this is a start to great social skills and a love of school and learning!

Know that we are doing the very best we can for you and that we love you so very very much!

Love,
Mama

17 mths

Chandler, you are 17 months this week. You are definitely growing mentally and emotionally. You are starting those legendary tantrums. You throw them the most for me because you already know your Papa will not allow you to carry on so. When you do not get your way you will list on the ground and wail, sometimes rolling on the floor like an alligator doing its death roll. If I try and hold you you kick and squirm so much that it is hard not to drop you. But the screaming is the worst. But just as bad as the tantrums are you are equally loving and fun! You love the little games and you laugh so freely!

You have started giving kisses. It started in the tub, when I would rinse your hair and the water would run into your face. You would stand up startled and come to me at the side of the tub and give me a kiss, I would wipe your face then it is back to playing with your boats! It is one of the most precious things you do. You and your Papa have a different way to show affection, you head butt. Papa will say "I love you" and you two will put your foreheads together...sometimes a little too hard (still learning body control).

This week you start daycare three days a week. I think it will be a great time for you to be social and to learn. I will post more about how you like daycare at the end of your first week.

Indra is interacting with you more and more. You love that dog and get excited to touch or feed her. She now allows you to hug her and hold her tail and pat her. You still play chase where you try and corner the dog and she still dodges you. I am glad to see that relationship developing!

It is always a joy to love you and watch you grow!

Chandler 16mths

You turned 16 mths this week. Not a whole lot is different from 15 mths. You still LOVE the outdoors and exploring the car. You are sleeping great and going to bed a lot easier than before, which makes me a happy Mama! I think we are making progress at the talking thing. This week you said something that was very very close to 'Good job" and what I could have sworn was 'Up". These are words we have been saying to you since your birth.

In the mornings now you and I go and wake Papa up before I leave...He seems to be in a better mood when you wake him up than when I do! We all three play on the bed and you crawl over me and Chris to get to the dog who is only trying to find a corner of the bed where you can not reach her.

You have started running, but it is a non-rhythmic stumble/run and your hands are out in the air to steady you. When you get really excited you wave your arms like a baby bird and laugh.

This weekend was Mother's Day. We had a great weekend! Namma and Pap came to visit from Kentucky. We all went out to eat and you had your first Mac and Cheese. You were not sure how you feel about this food. You also made a huge mess at the restaurant when you turned on the soft serve ice cream machine and let it run!!!! (OK a little my fault for not paying attention).

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's. You played on the back deck and watched all the birds, then we went on a pontoon boat ride. Your first boat ride. You protested wearing the life vest but then settled in sitting on Papa's lap driving the boat. We had an adventure when Papa grounded the boat and he and Grandpa had to get out into the water and push us off the rocks!!! Later that night we played in the hot tub! (water temp was turned down for you). You had a blast playing in the chest-high water and even dunked you face a little bit.

Over all a great weekend of 1st.

Know that you are loved so much by so many people and we are having a blast raising you!

I love you,
Mama

Simple Days

You are 15 1/2 months old. We are enjoying the simple things in life and soaking in the joy that this stage in our life brings. You are very active and intelligent, Maybe every mother thinks this, but you love to figure out what a tool does, or where a key fits, or how something is put together and it usually does not take you long to figure it out!

Your latest favorite past time is exploring the inside of cars. We turn you loose in the car with a set of keys and you go exploring all the buttons, latches, levers and of course where the keys fit! You know which key fits in my car, which key fits Papa's car and Grandma's car!

Chris is playing softball in a men's league and you and I go to watch his games every Monday night. We play in the grass by the field and watch Pap play. We have made friends with the 18 mth boy who is there watching his Paps. You two play in the dirt, take balls away from each other and then give them back and share snacks!

This week we bought you a bunk bed! It is bright blue and has a futon couch that pulls out into a bed on the bottom of the bunk. You are not quite ready to leave your crib yet, but soon. When you really want out of your crib you have started throwing a leg over the rail and can get 3/4 of your body over the railing! Soon you will be tumbling to the floor and we will have to switch you to the futon. I think it will be years of fun!

Life is simple, yet busy! and we are enjoying all the blessings God is bringing our way.

I love you,
Mama

Easter 2010

I was really looking forward to your second Easter because it would be the first one where you could participate int eh family fun! Usually we head up to Kentucky to spend it with Chris' family. After church we all meet up at someone's house and the kids get their Easter baskets and have an Easter egg hunt. But the festivities will have to wait until next year because this year you got sick! Saturday before Easter you got a bad cough and ran a high fever, so we stayed home. But we celebrated with just our family and it was still fun!

Amazingly the Easter bunny still found you and Sunday morning we opened your basket. You ate your first candy bar (bite sized). "Three Musketeers" followed by "Twixx" and "Milky Way". Even though you were feeling badly you still were able to eat chocolate! Later int he day we went out in the back yard and found eggs, filled with more chocolate, that the Easter bunny left for you. You had a great time and so did your Pap and I!!!

Letting go...a little bit

You has your first non-family sitter last week. Jill from Church came to watch you for the whole day! You had a blast. When I got home you were happy and I could tell you really liked her! As hard as it was to leave you with a sitter, it had to happen eventually and it makes me feel good that you like Jill so much!

I love you!

You are getting lots more teeth, almost six on top and about three or four on bottom. I don't know if you are just trying them out or what but you have taken to biting my legs! Not hard but just enough to show me you have them I guess. It's kinda cute right now, but not for long!

You and your Papa made ginger bread men the other day, only Chris got the recipe off the Internet and did not read the reviews which said it was the worst gingerbread recipe ever! So what you ended up with were rock solid ginger bread men! But they smelled delicious when I came home. I tried to bite into one...unsuccessfully and then tried to soak it in milk for several minutes and I still was unable to eat it! The real funny thing is that you love them!! I don't know how you eat it, but you gnaw and gnaw at it till it dissolves and you are left with ginger colored drool down your shirt.

Your favorite (only) movie you watch is "Shrek". You particularly like Donkey and when the music plays you dance by turning in circles and moving your arms all around! You make your self dizzy and usually fall down. It is truly cute. Hopefully I can get it on video and post it here.

You have started to love reading. We read in the morning and in the evening before bed and if I am home you ask to read before naps. You either gather the ones you want to read and bring them to our reading chair or I hold a selection in front of you and you will point to the one you want. I know you are happy about your selection when you lean back into my arms and snuggle in to enjoy. I really need to get you some more books!

I thought by now I would have the "mommy look" down. But my sharp "no" and stern face does not even phase you! Usually you look back, smile and even more insulting...laugh and them go right on sticking whatever you can find into the electrical sockets!!!!
I do hope that one day I get the hang of discipline!

I have made a decision that I must find a way to work from home! Not because I really want to (although I do) or that I hate the workforce so much (cause I don't) but I have to because not being there to teach you and watch you grow literally breaks my heart! So hopefully by the time you are old enough to read this blog I will be working from home! I am very lost and scared about how to make that happen and overwhelmed by the hard work, sacrifice, and rejection it will take, but I love you so much that for me and my heart, I have no choice!

I love you,
Mommy

Dedication 3-21-10

A lot has happened this week, but the best thing is that Chris and I dedicated Chandler at Church on Sunday. We had family and friends over for a celebration. Your Grandma and Grandpa came, your Namma and Pap came and all your cousins, Aunts and Uncles on Chris's side and Chris's cousins and their kids, plus our small group and some extra friends from church were there to celebrate!

We had a lot of fun. You enjoyed running around the house with your cousins and following them as they played. You were hugged and kisses numerous times by everyone!

It has been warm and you are loving being outside, you take after your Grandpa. You roam around and play in all the water and dirt you can find. You pick up sticks and want the dog to take it from you, you throw the balls and play "catch" with the dog! You are truly an outdoor kid!

We have so much fun with you!

Sick days

This past week you have not been feeling well. Probably just the crud but you have been fussy, picky, and not sleeping well. But hopefully you are are the upswing today!

In this blog I don't want to just ramble about how cute you are or what you ate today. I want to mark the milestones and leave you with "Mommy Notes" that will hopefully impart some wisdom mixed in with the memories.

We have been really encouraging you to "use your words" even though all you say is "this" "that" and "Dada" you understand way more and we are hoping that you are on the verge of putting it all together. Communication is a huge milestone in life yet we never really seem to learn it or use it to its fullest potential. It will keep coming up as a area the needs improvement: school will push you to improve your communication, relationships will tax your communication abilities, and even your communication with God some how can not be completely expressed through language. It will be a frustrating area as you learn to make sentences and increase your vocabulary with words you want to communicate, as you try and express your thoughts and feeling - you say what makes sense to you yet the other person cannot understand your meaning even though they supposedly speak the same language as you, and there will be times when language itself does not seem to have the words that capture what you feel. It is one of the challenges of this life.

But pursue communication anyway because your ability to communicate and your desire to understand and be understood will greatly benefit you in this life not just in career or educational advancement, but in marriage, in friendships and in your purpose to live in relation with Christ and to share who he is with others.

I am excited about what you are learning and even though your first words were not Mama, I will do my best to teach you what I know about communication and will treasure all talks we will have!

Love
Mama

Me and your Papa

Let me tell you about your Mama and your Papa. We love each other very much. We are growing to love each other more and to love more like Christ, which means #1 we are not perfect, as a couple, as parents, or as people and #2 we are getting better and better at loving, and loving you too!

We complement each other in our differences but are very much alike in our thinking, interests, and personalities. I hope that you always can see how much we love each other and that you will feel secure about our family and the foreverness of us.

Next to your Papa you are the person I love the most on this earth. I cherish the moments of cuddle time I get with you (I only get moments because you are on to the next thing) and I steal all the kisses I can! You have started recognizing when I ask for a kiss and you will lean into me. I usually get your forehead or ear or hair but it tickles me that you are understanding affection!

Days with Papa

Chris, your Papa, is so very good with you. He is playful, silly, he is the best at making you laugh. He is also stern and good at enforcing rules, where I might give in, he stands firm. You respond very well to him and have learned that you can get away with different things depending on who is watching you. So for your Papa you take naps without a fuss and will go to sleep in 2 minutes, where as for me you cry and squirm and I end up sitting on the floor holding your hand through the bars on the crib till you fall asleep, which takes about 30 minutes.
He may let you play with power cords (unpluged ones) and eat cookie dough, or push all the buttons on the electronic devices (the TV now makes a high pitched noise), but you are having a great time and learning to explore your world. He loves you very much and truly has wanted you for so many years!

What has surprised me the most about watching Chris and you, is how much he focuses on teaching you. He is very excited for the time when you can talk with us and vocalize what you want. I think that because of this year that the two of you have been together, you will grow up with a closeness to your Papa that maybe will help the two of you work through the times when you butt heads and have disagreements.

Yesterday was the first warm day of the season. I came home to find fresh dirt in the yard scattered with a wheel barrel, shovels and holes. You and your Papa spent the afternoon in the yard, doing "manly things". You played in the dirt, chased the dog and took rides in the wheel barrel! You are getting go good at walking and enjoy being outdoors and exploring on your own. I know when you get just alittle older I will really have my hands full with my wonderful, wild, all boy, little Chan-man!

You learn so quickly and I love watching you and seeing the joy you get when you have found something new!

Steps towards a future.

Tonight we will leave you with friend of mine who will watch you while your Papa and I go to an "Artist Connection" at our church. It has been a hard week for you because your Grandma was here an extra night and although you love being with her, when she leaves you are very clingy with me. As if you have been distracted from the fact that I am not around or busy doing things around the house and once that distraction is gone you realize that you've missed me. I hate to leave you again tonight but we are trying to start a pottery and photography business and this artist connection will let us display our work and get to know people who are interested in art. Pottery and Photography are hobbies of both myself and your Papa so it is great for us to share that love and we are hoping that even if it never becomes a self supportive business that it can bring in some and maybe one day bring in enough where one of us can stay home with you.

I am very determined to be there for you in every way I can! When you are sick at school, I want to be able to come get you and bring you home to rest, eat jello and watch cartoons till you feel better. I want to be there to pick you up from school and hear about your day, good or bad. If you forget your lunch money or have a school trip I want to be there! Don't get me wrong you will know discipline and boundaries. You will work for the things you want and you will learn to be a responsible and respectful adult. But that is a process, and you will take on more as you grow.

So please understand that sometimes I have to be away from you but my love is always with you and we are working towards a bright future for our family to be financially stable and be able to be present, involved, and supportive of you as you grow.

Tub Time

Most of the time you really enjoy "tub time". We usually take a bath 3-4 times a week after dinner. You have a octopus faucet cover where the water comes out the octopus's tentacles. You have a blue duck, a yellow and a blue boat, but your favorite is to chew on the wash cloth and pull my shampoo bottles down from the shelf. Last nights bath was especially fun! Your Papa joined us for tub time. He was trying to get you to put your face in the water. You have done it a few times for me but he has never seen you do it. So he was coaxing you to put your face in but you would just look at him and laugh, so he thought he would show you. He stuck his face in the soapy water and blew bubbles, then pop up and smile at you with the water running off his beard. You thought this was hilarious (so did I). He kept doing it and you kept laughing. Then you started grabbing his hair and pulling his head into the water. This went on for five minutes or so. By the end we were all laughing!

You are such a joy and delight your Papa and I so much. Everyday you surprise me with how much you understand and the new things you can do! I can not wait till summer when we can get you into a pool and teach you how to swim!

Grandma Miller

Since the day you were born my mother, your "grandma", has been in your life. She came and stayed two weeks when I got home from the hospital and when I had to go back to work at 10 wks post partium she came two days a week to watch you (and give your awesome stay at home Papa a break!) She has been doing that for the past 14 months! I can not express in words how thankful I am to her. She drives an hour and a half each way and spend two days loving you and teaching you new things! It has greatly helped me adjust as I learn to deal with the fact that I cannot be at home with you all the time as I would want, but I know that between your Grandma and your Papa you are well taken care and loved beyond measure while I am gone!

You LOVE your Grandma and always want her to hold you when she is in the room! I listen from the bathroom as I get ready for work in the morning and hear you and her laughing as she feeds you breakfast in the kitchen. Then, when you have eaten all she can stuff into you, I hear the two of you coming down the hall. I wait for the peek-a-boo game that comes next as she holds you, so that only your face peeks into the bathroom and you can see me. Then she pulls you back (you laugh) and do it all over again!

She takes you on long walks around our neighborhood and helps you chase the dog around the house, to which you giggle so much you loose your balance! You help her wash dishes in the sink, even though you soak your cloths and hers! She plays "Hunter and Bear" with you the way she used to play with me when I was a child. And she teaches you about Jesus, in hopes that one day she will get to have a conversation about the grace and forgiveness He has given to you and how He loves you.

Your Grandma is an incredible woman who gives and sacrifices unceaseingly for those she loves and YOU are at the top of that list!

Blogging with Purpose -Day 1

I have been inspired to leave "memories" for my son, Chandler and for all future children if we are blessed with them. To remind him what our family was like when he was little and to testify to the grace and provision of Jesus in our lives!

I am excited...but out of time for today. Blogging takes a while!
